Superspeciality Training Program

Duration: 3 years

M.Ch-Surgical Oncology is a super speciality degree at Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore. The program focuses on the surgical treatment of cancerous tumors in various parts of the body. The duration of this program is three years and is offered to those who have completed their MS in General Surgery.

The program is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi.

ELIGIBILITY
  • MS and NEET Qualified
  • He/She has obtained a minimum of marks in National Eligibility – cum – Entrance Test as prescribed in Clause 5 of Chapter II
ADMISSION PROCEDURE

All the seats, including NRI/Management quota, are allotted by merit through online counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee, Directorate General of Health Services, New Delhi and Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore. Selection is based on the rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).


Duration: 3 years

DM Oncopathology is a super speciality degree at Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore. The program focuses on the diagnosis of cancer using histopathological modalities by determining tumour pathology and molecular pathology. The duration of this program is three years and is offered to those who have completed their MD in Pathology.

The program is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi.

  • MD (Pathology) and NEET Qualified
  • He/She has obtained a minimum of marks in National Eligibility – cum – Entrance Test as prescribed in Clause 5 of Chapter II

BSc Radiotherapy is a graduate degree at Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore. The duration of this program is three years and is offered to those who have completed their 12th Std/Equivalent in science stream.

ELIGIBILITY
  • To be eligible for admission in B.Sc. Radio Therapy Technology, a candidate should have passed two-years Pre- University examination/ Pre Degree examination/ two years after ten years of schooling or its equivalent as recognized by the Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal courses of study.
  • Candidate needs to secure minimum 50% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology or above marks in the qualifying examination to be eligible for admission. For SC/ST/OBC candidates minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 45% marks. in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
