Overview

Dr. Dimple Rajshekar Rai earned her master's degree with distinction from Mangalore University. Her master's degree focused on social medicine, community health, family counseling, case studies, and group work. Soon after receiving her master's degree, she continued full-time research for her Ph.D. on “Socioeconomic aspects and quality of life between mastectomy and breast conserving treatmentamong early breast cancer patients attending Kidwai Memorial Institute of O nc ology, Bengalur u ” at the prestigious Kidwai Institute of Oncology (Regional Cancer Centre), affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, under the guidance of Dr.Janet Parameshwara, (Chief- SWO) and Dr.V.Lokesh (Professor of Radiation Oncology and the Director) of Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. Yenepoya University's Zulekha Yenepoya Institute of Oncology has employed her as a psycho- oncologist since June 2022.
