Overview

After completion of post graduation, got trained in surgical oncology for 5 years from 1995 to1999. During the same period completed MCh course at KIDWAI Cancer Hospital, Bangalore. Later joined Fr.Mullers Medical College hospital as a surgical oncologist for one year in the department of general surgery, three years in Kasturba Medical College as surgical oncologist, as assistant professor and Yenepoya Medical College since 2005 to present as assistant professor and associate professor in department of general surgery till 2015. 2016 onwards working as associate professor in the department of surgical oncology.

Working as a consultant Surgeon and Surgical oncologist in Mangalore since last 21 yrs. Work involved O.P.D Consultations, preoperative work up, surgery and post operative care with independent decision making, as well as a team leader.

Main work involved surgeries related to Head and Neck oncology, breast oncology, G.I oncology and Uro and Gyenaec oncology. Performed over 5000 major and supra major surgeries in oncology independently. Also skilled in Upper G.I Scopy and Colonoscopy. Trained in ROBOTIC SURGERY IN 2016 and performing robotic surgeries since then.
