Overview

After completion of Post graduation in surgery, got trained in surgical oncology for a period of 2yrs from 2006 to 2008 at Kidwai Memorial institute of Oncology, Bangalore, which is one of the most reputed and largest cancer centres in India. Later joined K.S.Hegde Medical Academy as Assistant Professor in Surgery and consultant surgical oncologist, which is a Medical college attached to 1000 bedded hospital. Promoted as an Associate Professor in September 2013 and continued to work in same institution till March 2016. Later in the month of April 2016 joined Department of Surgical Oncology as an assistant professor in Yenepoya Medical College and promoted to associate professor in October 2020 and continued to work till date. The Yenepoya Medical College hospital is a 1100 bedded teaching hospital. The department of Surgical Oncology in the hospital offers MCh in Surgical Oncology.

Working as a consultant Surgeon and Surgical oncologist in Mangalore since last 15 years. Work involved O.P.D Consultations, preoperative work up, surgery and postoperative care with independent decision making, as well as a team member.

Main work involved surgeries related to Head and Neck oncology, breast oncology, G.I oncology and Uro and Gyenaec oncology. Performed over 3000 major and supra major surgeries in oncology independently. Also performed over 2000 procedures in general surgery. Also skilled in Upper G.I Scopy and Colonoscopy. Trained in ROBOTIC SURGERY IN 2016 and performing robotic surgeries since then.
