Overview

Joined Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology in the department of Surgical Oncology as a Senior Resident in 1984 and ascended to become the Professor and Head of the Department till he took voluntary retirement in June 2015. During that period, he was the Visitng Professor in the department of Surgical Gastroentology, Bangalore Medical College for 15 years. He was the Director for five years for Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology which he got elevated from Regional Cancer Centre to State Cancer Institute recognised by Govt. of India.
